About Us

In 1967, after the founding of the town of Vsevladsk, the first police department was created. By 1981, the police force consisted of about 20 people, among whom were the head of the town’s police, Lieutenant General Mikhail Grinder, and his right hand, Major Olga Lavreshchuk. Annual selections were held, but few passed. Since 1984, horrific tragedies began to occur in the town, which were consolidated by a terrible incident, during which most of the people from the police died, among whom was Grinder.

The townspeople were completely broken. Everyone was scared, but only Major Lavreshchuk was not going to give up. She did everything in her power to keep the town safe. Suddenly, unexpected help came. Someone from the country's top leadership offered to help. Since the agreement between them was signed, a large number of experienced police officers arrived in the town who wanted to work and live in Vsevladsk. For her heroism, Olga Lavreshchuk received the rank of colonel and became the head of the town police. Since then, the people have believed in the Vsevladsk police forces and feel completely safe.

In Loving Memory of Mikhail Grinder (1937-1986)

Mikhail Grinder was one of those who always made an informed decision and believed that the one on whose side the truth would win. At the age of five, he experienced the pangs of war. When his family was leaving the city, they were noticed by the Nazis. To save the lives of his parents and Mikhail, his elder brother Savely sacrificed himself, taking over the enemy’s attention and fighting with them until his last breath. Mikhail was only 5 years old, but he remembered it very well. From then on, he decided to dedicate his life to protecting people so that the enemy could not launch an attack on them in any way. He wanted to do everything to prove to his late brother that his sacrifice that day was not in vain.

At the age of 38, Grinder started a family: a wife and four children. They lived happily for some time until one day their happiness was destroyed. Due to a nuclear accident at the factory next to which the Grinder family lived, they had to quickly leave the city in which they lived. Due to the shock wave, the bridge they were driving on began to collapse, causing the car to overturn and fly off the road. Mikhail suffered this terrible event with serious injuries, but the rest of his family did not survive. He fell into very deep repentance that he could not protect them and spent a long time in the house. One day he remembered his brother and decided that he would not back down and would protect everyone he could.

Having moved to the new town of Vsevladsk, the lieutenant general took a leadership position for his knowledge, skills and abilities. There he also met Major Lavreshchuk, the wife of the director of the local school. It was a great honor for him to work side by side with her, as it was for her with him. They were both worthy employees, which is why they were able to get along so well. The major (now colonel) deeply regretted what happened, but did not succumb to bitterness for too long. She understood that Mikhail had no one but her and his work.

The funeral of Mikhail Grinder was organized by the city and carried out in the best possible way. Monuments to the lieutenant general were erected in the city. A memorial wing dedicated to the life of Grinder has been established at the Vsevladsk police station.
